Philo, IL- After a two week break, Schuett Racing Inc. would head to Belle-Clair Speedway on Sunday, August 10th for the 23rd Annual Arnie Knepper Memorial. Kyle would be running both the POWRi National Midget Series in his Esslinger-powered, Spike Chassis midget and the POWRi 600cc Outlaw Micro Series in his Shively Racing Engines-powered, Sawyer Chassis micro-sprint. 34 midgets and 39 micros would enter the Arnie Knepper Memorial at Belle-Clair Speedway. This was Kyle’s first time running both cars in the same night. Kyle would run the midget heat first where he would start second and hold on to finish second. In the micro heat, he would bring home another second place finish after starting in the third position. After the heat finishes, both cars would be locked straight into the main event. After starting 13th in the midget main event, Kyle would finish in the 17th position in only his third career Midget start. He would then hop straight into the micro from the midget feature to run 20 more laps around Belle-Clair Speedway, finishing a solid 11th place.
Schuett Racing Inc. will now travel to Lincoln Speedway on Friday, August 15th and Macon Speedway on Saturday, August 16th.
