Farmington, MO.- Kyle Schuett made his POWRi Midget debut in a 30 car field with the Schuett Racing Inc., Illiana Insurance Agency, Bergfield Farms, and Progressive Propane sponsored, Esslinger-powered Spike at Belle-Clair Speedway Friday, July 18th. Kyle would start on the pole of his heat race, but after being involved in the first caution, would finish seventh. His heat finish would have him starting 12th in the semi-feature where he would take the 6th and final transfer position for the Belle-Clair main event. Kyle would bring home an impressive 15th place finish for his midget debut.
The next night at St. Francois County Raceway saw Kyle starting 3rd in his heat race and finishing 5th, maneuvering the fast speeds at the 3/8 mile dirt oval for the very first time. He would then start 15th in the feature where he would come home with another solid finish in the 14th position.
Schuett Racing Inc. will now travel to Highland Speedway on Wednesday, July 23rd, Wayne County Speedway on Friday, July 25th for the $5,000 to win Corn Husker Nationals and Southern Illinois Raceway on Saturday, July 26th with their 9K Sawyer Chassis micro-sprint. Next scheduled midget race will be August 10th at Belle-Clair Speedway.
